Agreement between Middletown and Thomas Ranney et al

Thomas Ranney first appears in New England in Middletown, Connecticut on 10 Jan 1658 when a land lot was granted to him.  It has not been proven when he arrived in New England.  Another Scottish Prisoner of War, Alexander Bow, settled in Middletown in 1659/60.

First Generation in the New World

Thomas RANNEY was born, probably in Scotland, circa 1616 and died in Middletown, CT, on 21 Jun 1713. He married in Middletown, CT May 1659 Mary HUBBARD.  She was born in Hartford, CT on 16 Jan 1641, daughter of George HUBBARD and Elizabeth WATTS, and died in Middletown, CT on 18 Dec 1721.
