Are you a Scottish Neal or Neill or Neale?

Here is an older book found at Google Books which appears to have information about #107 Andrew Neill and #108 John Neale from our Unity list.

In this book is noted a marriage between Andrew Neal and Catherine [Furbish], the daughter of William Furbish. We know William Furbish was one of the Scots from the ship Unity.

Take a look and see if this may be your ancestor.

  1. Kevin McKinney says:

Teresa. Do we have Neals or Furbishs on your list……I graduated high school with many of these names in York Maine along with McIntires and Grants who claim direct descendancy to the Scots If we get serious with our DNA study I know many who could be donors. Kevin

  2. Yes, we do! They are on the Unity list! Wow! How exciting to think that their descendants are still there in the area as their ancestors! That will be wonderful Kevin. I put in another email today to the Scottish DNA people and they should be getting back to me as soon as possible. It will be a great project!!! Thanks for your help and encouragement!
